Winter wishes...

The alpacas are busy growing wonderful fleeces for the June 2010 shearing days. Below is a picture of Zerlina enjoying the freshly fallen snow. We are expecting three new 2010 summer crias , meanwhile, we'll just keep selling warm socks & hats and their gorgeous yarns while creating new items by knitting , felting, and weaving. We wish all our visitors, friends, and customers the best in 2010.

We will continue to offer many of our quality animals for sale and invite you to visit our sale page for updated details. Some of our 2009 fleeces are done and new yarn from our alpacas and in a variety of colors (black, off white, and rose gray) has arrived - so please call now to reserve a special color.

Our September '09 Ranch Day was a huge success. Sun Gate entertained over 200 guests that fed the alpacas, learned about the the animals, played games, and learned to do a little wet felting. Thanks Casper for making our day special and allowing us to open our door to the community.

Sun Gate's Bandolero and Sun Gate's Carlos

This painting was done by a world reknown artist from the Pacific Northwest named Mary McInnis. She is an amazing artist who visited our ranch last summer and felt compelled to paint this wonderful portrait of Bandoleros and Carlos. You can see more of her work and order prints at

www.mjmcinnisfineart.com and http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/mary-mcinnis.html

The fact that she is Paul's sister has no bearing on the above write-up.
